Weaves of Kashmir
Kashmir artisans are renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship, particularly in creating exquisite Pashmina shawls. Weaves of Kashmir is an entrepreneurship by a media veteran and their honest effort to make original hand woven Pashmina shawls accessible to the world and thus reward the artisans in the valley. The identity design is inspired by the lakes which are a lifeline to this region that weaves together a beautiful geography and its culture. This design constructed only with a word mark and borrows the characteristics of the lake, which display fluidity and balance. Kashmir is characterised by the golden brown maple leaves of Chinar trees during autumn season, our inspiration for the brand colour.
